Masked Market hours

To create a safe experience for shoppers who have not yet been able to access to the Covid-19 vaccine or who are at an elevated risk for Covid-19, Green City Market is holding Masked Market Hours from 7 to 8 a.m. at GCM Lincoln Park on every Wednesday and Saturday. During these hours, masks are strongly encouraged of all shoppers, vendors, volunteers, and staff regardless of vaccination status. 

Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the State of Illinois — and recognizing how safe and effective the Covid-19 vaccines are — masks are optional for fully vaccinated people from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at GCM Lincoln Park and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at GCM West Loop.

Unvaccinated individuals are still strongly encouraged to wear a mask within Green City Market.  

Mind your distance

• Please maintain an approximately six foot distance between yourself and others throughout the market. 

• Each vendor will determine whether shoppers are permitted to touch the products at their tent before purchasing. Please be courteous and ask the vendor before touching any products. 

  • Shoppers may bring their own reusable bags but will be responsible for bagging their own purchases.
